I love it when I am driving and find a random fig tree... Or 6!! Behind this old shopping strip most of the stores are out of buisness I spotted 3 HUGE neglected fig trees.  Im posting the pics of the leaf and the fig because I cant pin down what I think it might be.. Maybe a King??? There werent many figs left on it and the ones I got were not what I would call ripe.  They taste very citrus/ melonish. I saw one ripe one that had been pecked and it looked normal red-jelly like on the inside. So here they are! There were 3 more on the other end of the strip with no figs and barely any leaves one almost dead. Sad :( Oh and I live in Texas so I might assume it would be something that does well in these parts because these trees are at their maximum size.Thanks for any help!

Your's is obviously not fully ripe.

That hint of orange-red color on both the skin and the pulp (meat) looks strange to me.

Yes the only ripe one had was pecked and had bugs so I couldnt bring it :(

That red around eye,tells me is not Desert King

Aw shoot! Well I did notice that the leaves are quite different from the Desert King too.  My only other guesses are condria or kadota? What do youll think?
