I have pruned 4 very large fig trees, 3 unnamed and 1 Patrick Super Giant. One is dark purple, heavy bearer and excellent fresh or preserves. PSG has 2 crops, large green-yellow fig that I really like fresh or preserves. 1 is a huge purple fig than only had 3 figs last year an taste was mediocre but may be good for stuffing. 1 fig is small, Celeste type or maybe Celeste, excellent dried, seems to keep forever. These trees haved thrived in a protected environment behind our store.
