UC Davis cuttings

Well at least it sounds like it was not a mistake I made. I wish I could choose what programs my "donations" to the federal government went for.

how do I set up a FedEx account? I've never done it
I am all pro Payment, we shouldn't add burden to the UC Davis system, they are already putting so much work into distributing the cuttings to everyone.

I just walked into my local fedex office handed them a credit card to have on file and they setup an account # for you. I believe you can also do it on line.

Did mine online. Easy.

For all you who get your cuttings for the first time, please know, these people work HARD, and the packaging is great!  For crying out loud.  PAY for SHIPPING!!  If you don't, they might stop the program.  Don't be like that.  Be grateful!  This is a service that is not available anywhere else.  Tons of cuttings and not just figs.  Be reasonable!

Pay for shipping!  It's not that much!  I order mostly wine grapes, and a few figs, and a pom or two.  Most it's ever been is like $25 bucks, but I do order a lot of varieties.

Suzi

When you send your FedEx account number, you can specify ground shipping.  It's cheap

Suzi is right, they do work hard.  It is not even their primary business.  They do not hire people specifically to fill these orders.  And if you specify ground shipping, it's cheap.

Sounds more than fair to me...we definitely should support them.
