Wow, figs on the grill! These pics make my mouth water!

The are Kadota stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped with procciutto than skewered with rosemary.

Even the BT looks good.  But I'd kill to taste those Ischia Black.

Hey jon. Do you know the exact date this is usually held? Or should one just contact the CRFG?

You would have to contact the local CRFG chapter. They probably don't have a date for this year, yet.

It is usually on a Saturday, after Labor day, but this year was Sunday before, an exception to past practice.

Jealous.. wish I could attend these out of town events (or we had in town ones!!) And love to see ideas like this to enjoy figs. I will be grilling figs this year.

I just drove past UC Davis an hour ago, sadly I could not take the time to plan/make a visit. However I really need to figure out how to work it into my schedule [I will be making more trips to the greater Sacramento area]. If anyone has suggestions of where to go and what to see, I am all ears.
