The goal of this trip was to photograph as many of the cultivars as possible. Some were earlier season figs, and no longer available, and some later season figs, not yet ripe. However, the vast majority were available. Unless otherwise noted, these were of acceptable flavor, worth growing, but not necessarily exceptional.

These looked gorgeous, almost like a Calimyrna, but I could not find one that didn't taste spoiled. Hopefully mine will have fruit next year.





Kalamata

These had an exceptionally hearty flavor.







Caprifig "R"







I had one 278-128 fruit ripe here in NJ,from my 2 yr old fig,and it was ,just as good if not better,than Conadria.About the same flavor.
