Waiting for them to drop.
Looking good Frank. Thanks for sharing
I hope this is the year the tree is strong enough to mature figs for you.
They look great Frank !
They do look good, unfortunately if what I've read is true and they are main crop figs, they will drop.
Frank, I hope you 'get lucky'. They have been nothing more than a tease for me...for the past two seasons.
Hi,From the leaf, Not the French/European dauphine .Your tree looks healthy .Good luck with the crop !
I have good news and bad news...Good news - Looks like the one remaining fig (I pulled the rest, wanting the tree not to divert energy into figs that would drop) was on its way to ripening.Bad news - the birds got to it before fully ripening. So, what's the deal with Dauphine from UCD? Is is or is it not a San Pedro fig?
I have a Grise de Tarascon (supposedly a syn. for Dauphine) with some main crop figs the size of marbles right now... If they ripen i will post pics to compare to see if its the same.
Blame BirdsThanks for sharing
I have a Dauphine from UCD, so I am hoping for a main crop.
Tylerj, it would be great to know whether your GtD is Dauphine. I have Dauphine and Granthams Royal. My Dauphine hada die back for 2 seasons, hence only main crop figs where all will aborted. Presently I have over a hundred GranthamsRoyal figs and they are ripening -- they sure look like ripe DAUPHINE. We have already enjoyed some GR figs with more on the way.
