I have a fig tree from UCD by way of a really good friend and am trying to see if I can find something about it.  The leaves are not mature enough to use for ID.  The numbers are: 406      187-25  it is on the list but no information.  I guess I would expect UCD to have something other than just a number.

Danny, try sending an email for more information. This looks like one of their hybrids.

Don't know what the #406 is, but 187-25 info is here.

It is quite good,, but slow growing.

187-25 produces very fine figs, large and tasty. I lost my tree though last winter as I failed to give it water, it was in the very back of my garage and I missed it.
