in this bunch, there are some that i have been looking for for awhile. however, Ischia Black is the one that i really wanted to try for very long time. i assume it will be like Ischia Green from UCD. sickly with FMV. not growing well, distorted leaves and all. but it's the one that i really wanted to try and keep alive to see if i can get a decent tree out of. 

That's a great set of cuttings.  I hope they thrive!

just sent thank you letter to UCD and mary parker. as always the service they are providing is just great.

finished processing and bagging the cuttings. 28 of them in all. each of them were cut in half. some, third. ended up with total of 58 cuttings. took me 2 hrs. i ordered them in order that i prefer. i started with Black Ischia and ended with Adriatic. by the time i got to Santa Cruz Dark, i was very tempted to just dump the rest.

martin, thanks. i'm so looking forward to how Ischia Black will work out. i just hope it's not as bad as Ischia Green UCD. that one was a serious runt. IG is putting out leaves for the spring and it looks funny already. then again Calverts aren't doing much better. but Col de Dame Blanche, Ischia White, and Black Madeira are just beautiful. i'm rather surprised at how well they grow.

oh.. BC #93 is waking up also. lovely little thing that is..
