so i had a chance to sample one yesterday. it was over ripen and there were some bug eggs on the stem of it, so i didn't pop it in my mouth. no pix, i was watering the figs.

it was good. something different. it had rather orange/red pulp. green skin. skin wasn't too thick, but i didn't bite into it to really tell.

taste was generic. but there was something that i couldn't pin point. looking forward to it next yr.

Don't know how the figs taste since this is a new fig for me, but the deer loves the leaves! They have eaten it twice in one week. First attack, was only the top of the plant, second one was the rest of the leaves! And it's the only one they attacked twice.
