Landscapewitch, the tree is located at UC Davis.  The figs were good.

Sigh. Will have to get an order in to UC Davis next year. Really want one.

Hello Dennis, I must say, there seems to be a certain theme that goes on. Maybe you can explain, of what I speak. Most people when showing the insides of a fig, well, they use a knife that makes a beautiful cut. Just wondering what kind of knife are you using. It sorta, kinda looks like a giant bite has been taken out. My guess is you use this knife a lot, cause there seems to be many pics from you with the fig looking like this. As Desi use to say to Lucy..You have a lot of splaining to do.

Luke, we were in the UC Davis orchard and I did not know what to expect.  So, I was the probe and did not have a knife.  All I had were, a 2 cameras, a paper tablet, pen, and an orchard map.   Sooooo I used my teeth, I did use my fingers on some figs.  I had a lot of fun eating all those figs.

Just fun in with you Dennis, I think if I were there, probably get sick from eating to many. Sure would have a good time doing it.

Jon, told me to pace myself and  not to eat every fig, but I didn't listen  I over ate both days!  I wasn't sick but close to being sick.  HaHa!
