Received today package containing 1 ischia black scion.
Im thankful to obtain it and now the fun.

I received my UCD order just now and along with many others, got a (one) nice long Black Ischia cutting. I can't wait to see how it does although I know it's going to be a hard road at best!

That particular one died at my hands.

I root for the underdog i suppose and thats why this cultivar has my interest.
Anyhoot i have a few new things up my sleeve to try this growing season .

I received mine today too. It is great to get them so early, last year I waited quite a bit longer and started to get worried. I really didn't expect them this early, but was glad to see them. I also got some Mulberry, Pomegranate and Peach scion along with the fig cuttings. Lots of fun!! Good luck to all the forum members that haven't got theirs yet, and even if you are towards the end of the shipping, it is worth the wait, as I found out last year.

A day of anticipation. Left the house at 8 this morning heading to east Texas for a 4 day weekend. One hour down the road I get a call from fed ex stating they have a package for delivery asking if they can leave it at the gate. So I ask a friend to go pick up the package after work. Of course at 7pm I get the call from my friend that I have a big box of sticks. Go FIGure.

PS .... I got all of my rootstock for my AU Rosa plums today but no UCD cuttings.  Figures, I get home and all of my plums are with buds ready to pop, so ... I'm going to graft, but hopes are low.  Meh.

Receiving packages is contagious today, I also found one at the door when I got home. I though at first it was for the wife, but when I picked it up and saw it was from UC Davis, I started to feel like Christmas came early.... got writer's cramp from all the labels I had to hand write.... Not complaining mind you...I'm just saying.. cuttings are getting a good soak on, waiting for the weekend and the prep work.

I didn't order any.
But technically, This could be a White Christmas to some. Consider the snow is coming down.

I got my package today too..Lots of fun..
Only I don't know how I suppose to pay for it?
I check my fed ex account and I don't saw any open invoice or bill or anything..
I don't sure what to do.. Contact UCDA? Contact Fed Ex???
They was very nice to me, sent me lots of cuttings..I will love to pay for them, or at list for shipment cost..
Please, if anyone know what I need to do..
I real don't like this situation...

Olga, if it was sent via your FEDEX account, trust me, you paid for the shipping!  FEDEX accounts are linked to credit card accounts and debit accounts.....at least mine is.  UCD likes it when we pay for shipping, in my opinion.  By us fig people paying shipping, pleases UCD.  I've received several emails from them thanking me for paying for shipping and an update my cuttings.  I got what I requested except one but I am very happy with what I have received.  cheers,
