UCD/R 143-5 and 143-28

A couple of years ago a generous member gifted me a bunch of UCD/R light figs.  This is the first real crop and they are really good yellow/greenish figs.  They are not as good as the Scott's Yellow or the LSU Gold but they are a very good, large fig.  A real keeper, I was going to toss them if they didn't do something this season.

No pictures but there is nothing that is unique about them.

Danny, I don't think many folks have those.  I've tasted them at UC Davis.  They are good figs.  Folks here seem to not like the numbered names for figs.  DOn't know why.  What's in a name???

A good name makes the fig sexy and desirable :) - ok, and it makes it more easy to remember her name or reference .
Well, I'm about to buy "Jannot" ... but that's an ugly name - I think that the attached picture on the tree sold me...
