Unk. Pastilliere 2015 main

That is my Unknown Pastilliere, the best fig I tested last year and this one, a must have if you are in the wasp area. Very rich, with a hint of bing cherry. The tree is very productive, it starts early and finishes late in the season.
Enjoy!

Nice pic. Look how you can see all the individual flower stems. Looks very nice. I have one but its was just a cutting in november 2014. I dont have the wasp so we shell so if the louisiana sun and mud is enough to get fruit

Richard,
You need to ship it to CA for a vacation in the spring.

You can ship back when the, wasp do there thing !!! ;)) l9l

Mine has little figgies on it know. Will they stay on. We,shell see. Has big beautiful leaves

Good luck with them!
I think if they stay, it is not an UP though, but I still might be wrong

Bought it from someone we all know and he told me it most likely needs the, wasp. But its a beautiful plant anyway.

I am curious about the leaves on your tree. Here they are much brighter green than most trees.

The leaves on mine are a very bright color and so far single lobed. However it is still a little young.

Very good point, Jon.
I have a few in pots and one in the ground.
The potted UPs all have bright green leaves except one that has been receiving extra Miracle Gro.
I was curios why the leaves were so bright and decided to experiment.
The ground tree has the usual dark leaves and from a far you cannot tell it is a UP.
So, it seems this variety needs something extra to keep the leaves in a darker shade.
The fruit taste is not affected by this though ( or my taste buds are not that sophisticated ).
Also , the grind tree leaves are five lobed while the potted trees are one and three lobes mostly.
