Hello everyone.
Last weekend I visited my good friend Attilio, and helped him store his potted plants in the garage, including a MASSIVE fig tree. We had to snip a couple of branches to get it to fit through the garage door. I also plucked a bunch of root suckers from his in-ground figs, to make winter wrapping easier.
I've gathered all the stock, packed it, and I'm putting it up for sale.
I'm offering 3 different options, with a fourth to come in the Spring:
Option 1 - 4 cuttings of Unknown Attilio Purple. Fully dormant. These were removed from the potted plant. The nodes are closely spaced, 4 nodes to the cutting. They are 5 to 7 inches in length.
$14 including shipping in padded envelope.
Option 2 - 4 cuttings of Unknown Attilio Purple. SEMI-DORMANT. The wood is not fully lignified. I've had bad luck storing this type of cutting long term, especially with added moisture. These were removed from in-ground trees. The nodes are widely spaced.
4 nodes to the cutting. Being from fast-growing root suckers, they are 7 to 14 inches in length.
$14 including shipping in padded envelope.
Option 3 - 4 cuttings of Unknown Attilio Green.
All cuttings are individually sealed in plastic wrap, and cut ends are waxed.
Substitutions are discouraged, but I'll work with you.
The 4th option will be available in the Spring.
I saved the root balls, and will be growing them through the Winter.
I'll make them available when they show progress, and can travel safely.
If you have plans to go to the Northeast Fig Gathering, the Staten Island Gathering, or are within driving distance, you may prefer a rooted plant.
You may also prefer this option if you tend to commit rooting massacres like I do :)
Please note that I'd prefer not to send cuttings to a destination that will be below freezing at arrival time. I will gladly arrange a suitable time with you.
I CANNOT send cuttings outside the U.S..
Information and photos on the two varieties available can be found here:

I've shared cuttings of these two varieties before. If you recently received a package from me, and there are cuttings marked with "AP" or "AG" these are the same varieties, from my own trees.
Thank you all.
