Unknown 'Carini' - 3rd year in ground *pics*

August will be 3 years this has been in the ground (zone 7).  It was a green cutting from the parent tree.  Just stuck it in the ground and it did well from the get go.  I've attached pics from 2010, and pics from today.  So far, this year it's added over 2 feet of growth on all branches.  Just 2 brebas due to cold spells, but I'm hoping for a big main crop.  The tree is about 4' tall.

Looks great - excited to hear about the brebas. I look forward to hearing how the fruit tastes. I also look forward to my own :)

Last year's brebas were great.  Nice and rich.  I'll definitely post pics of the breba in about a month or less, assuming nothing else gets to them first!

Looking great Frank ! Can't wait for mine to get there and to hear about the main crop . Glad to hear the brebas were tasty!

Frank...that 3rd. picture made my eyes pop...beautiful tree...enjoy those figs.

Frank, very nice looking tree. Can't wait for mine to get there either.

I planted one Carini in ground. It's got very vigorous roots. I'm looking forward to getting a taste of them. Thanks again!

Best of luck with them!  I hope you get them and not the critters.

Thanks everyone.  I might have to use some netting if I get a nice main crop.  Shouldn't be too much of a hassle since it's not too tall yet.

Looking great Frank,,, hope you get a huge main crop.
