Unknown Fig

Hello everyone,

I am new to fig tree cultivation and the forum. I bought a fig tree that was in desperate need of rescue. I planted it and two days later the leaves are turning brown. It has been a bit windy the last few days and I wonder if this could be the cause for the browning, or the transplanting, or the fact that it is now in direct light instead of a green house? It has some purpley brown pea sized figs on it and some green ones but is unknown variety. I was told it was a fig tree when I asked about it. It has a weird thing near the base of the trunk that I am also unsure about. Thought someone could shed some light but I am having difficulty unloading a few pictures.

Going from greenhouse to straight sun could kill the leaves. Keep it in shade for a week or so.

I resized the photos and it worked. Anyone know what type of fig this might be? is it a grafted fig? 20150625_204516_resized.jpg  20150625_204532_resized.jpg

put some shade cloth above it maybe ?

Thank you so much Jarrett and Austin. I will try to get it some shade. Any idea on what kind of fig tree it is? Do Fig trees get grafted like apples and other fruit trees?
