Bought this fig a couple years ago labeled as "Celeste" from a local nursery (labeled as coming from "Blooming & Beautiful" nursery) and planted it in the ground at my Grandma's house. It was well-protected the first winter and less so this year, but it survived with some damage and grows like a weed (no signs of FMV). Well, I was looking today and found three ripe figs (could've used another day or two but oh well). This is about 3-4 weeks behind the Mt Etna types in ripening. They seem to be a long small to medium sized fig with a tight eye. They're also a bit more shiny than other figs I've picked this year (though that may fade as they get really ripe).
Any ideas on what it might be? Sorry I didn't get a full leaf pic but I think you get the idea.
