Unprotected figs in Maryland

I have a co-worker who lives in Baltimore and is interested in figs.  I thought I remembered reports of some fig trees growing wild in an abandoned lot near, maybe the ocean or a freeway.  Can anyone refresh my memory?  I searched on Maryland but page 4 went by without finding the post I was looking for.  If anyone has cuttings of good tasting figs that do well unprotected in Eastern MD please let me know.  Thanks.

I live in Baltimore currently and I have seen lots of unprotected trees in people's yards and in several parks. I don't have any cuttings left but I have a few trees that I started from cuttings from one of the trees in a local park. I could give your co worker a small tree if they are interested- I have no idea what type of fig it is or what it tastes like as this is my first year with it.
