Two conjoined figs.   That's not a typical shape from the tree, right?  Hats to tell what it might be.  Got any leaf pics?

there is an italian fig that looks like that... Fico dell'Osso.

Do most of the figs on that tree look like that one?  Or are the others more typical "single" appearance?

There are lots of deformations that happen from time to time.  Martin's posting at the end of your referenced thread shows a couple he has seen on trees of a couple of varieties.  (thread linked by BexleyRabbit in post #6).  I've seen deformed figs that were "doubled" in various ways on Peter's Honey, Alma, and others.  So the question:  are most of the figs on this tree shaped this way?  Or is it just a deformed fig?

p.s.  spelling for Fetifero synonym is Dall'Osso... no "e" in it.

What above poster said -deformed.
Ive seen them in yard- taken pictures and eaten the fruit.

Mission fig in that last picture in link had a double eye and 1 stem holding it, interior was neat as i have it on a disk .
First pic had single eye and from different fig plant in yard.

thanks everyone

I dont know about the leaves, but I thought I put itup on here.

Not the best tasting fig, quite think skin
