Hi Marius:Just Let us Know if it will ripe in your cold climate.By the way:The unknown cuttings you sent me ,I rooted most of them and some are very promising. One of them is possibly Malta Black, but will see for sure when it ripe if it is .
Okay those have to be the largest leaves I have seen on a fig tree yet. Have you had a chance to taste those figs before? Look forward to seeing photos of the figs as you get ready to taste them. Will have to add this one to my list. Interesting.
Very promising find. Let us know if it ripens all those figs and how they taste.
marius - you are the man!
Saramc, one leave has 16'',really huge leaves.I never taste this fig before,i just got one cutting in march, this year. Will see....
Marius, that is, at least in my mind a very impressive crop for a cutting that is only a little over four months old.
Bob,it is in a 20 gal pot,21 miles south of cleveland,ohio.
That is a beautiful fig tree, Marius! You have such healthy trees. Thank you again helping me get started in my dormant fig cutting experience. I learned a lot and have some nice trees myself now.
