Unwrapping my fig trees

I took the tarps off of the fig trees that I left outside this winter since it's getting too warm to leave them on.  I also have a couple of unproductive unknowns that I did not wrap at all and it will be interesting to see if they come back.  The lowest temperature we had this winter was 6 F for one day.  




Left it outside in winter?

Yes, If wrapped and protected they can be pretty cold hardy.  It's a cold drying wind that will do the most damage but there is always the possibility of critters gnawing on the tree during the winter too.

I bought a fruiting size tree from EdibleLanscaping over 5 years ago so it could be seven years old?
