I started some cuttings in February and finally transferred them to larger pots. I purchased some Vasilika Sika and also received some bonus varieties. The mostly pine bark mix really works for me and I no longer use an intermediate perlite and vermiculite mix before transferring to soil. I go directly to the bark mix after root initials appear and leave them in the bark mix until the roots are mature and have turned color. There is very little breakage as compared to transferring from perlite and vermiculite.
