UPDATE Madeleine des Deux Saisons

Very jammy, not sweet, not berry, not melon, maybe a little woody. It is a very large fig at 1.61 oz or 45.6 gr and there are a lot more to ripen so I will give it another chance. About a 6 on 1-10 scale. It may hit the road also.

Mike,

Nice looking fig. Thanks for sharing.

Nice fig Mike. Thanks for sharing.

nice. hope the taste improves. seems like a good size fig with good looking pulp.

That is one good looking fig! Hope the taste and sweetness improve.

Nice Mike - thx.

Maybe a little less rain will improve the taste Mike.

goss

Another ripe one today. Still about a 6 on a 1-10 scale for me. This one was even larger than the first. It weighed in at 2.88 oz or 81.72 gr. This one is
also free along with the Brunswick to anyone who would like to come to Newnan, Ga. and pick it up. It would fit in a car trunk.

Wish I was closer to you, Mike. That's a good-looking fig and one from my wishlist. I don't suppose you are coming to Dennis' event in Charlotte in the Fall, are you?

Mike, a question in a slightly different direction.  Do you also have Angelique?  I'm asking because some people seem to indicate that Madelaine Des Deux Saisons and Angelique are the same, while others say they're different.  Since you have MD2S, I figured if you also have Angelique then maybe you could comment on whether they're the same or different.  Do you have Angelique?

Mike, I do not have Angelique. I have also read those same thoughts about those two.
