This is an update on my first fig tree. I re-potted to a larger container then the one i receive it in. He started to put some new growth so I got the courage to pinch the tip. I was hopping to get the lower but to do something but in return he is putting new growth at the top of the tree.

Is there something that I can do to make him put some growth on this lower bud? I would really like to have it branch from it.

When you eventually put her outside in the bright sun she will branch more. In low light conditions there is always less branching and a tendency to grow tall to find light. She is pretty ;)
