The Verdone looks great as does the weeping dwarf. Still think you should put it in a huge hanging pot and let it do it's thing. Should be interesting to see the fruit. I think you will have fruit on the creeper and the Verdone next year.

My goal is hardy figs. If you are near me (Chester, NJ) and have some cold hardy figs to trade, you are welcome to come
and take this one home.

Slingha - I would wait and see. you may never know if it is cold hardy unless you try. You never know the genetic combination results. If I were you i would take some cuttings as a backup. F. pumila in the NE gets treated as a houseplant.
