Has a distinct melon taste and not real sweet with no seed crunch. Not figgy at all. It weighed in a 1.00 oz or 28.49 gr. I like this one and gave it a 8 on 1-10 scale and it is a keeper.Second and last fig for this season was much larger than the first one weighing in at 1.92 oz or 54.6 gr. Unfortunately it was watered down by all the rain the last week and was not sweet at all. Maybe better luck next season.
Nice looking! Thanks for the picture.
Looks very tasty. Thanks for sharing the pics.
Neat! How did you come by this one?
A very generous forum member locally
Mike, This looks like an interesting one to add to many collections. I wonder what the sugar to weight ration is on this one since many diabetics are fearful of fig sugar.
Chris, I don't know the answer to that but compare to the sweetness of a Celeste it's no where close.
Pretty looking interior.
Yes Martin, to bad it's not dark on the outside. You might like this one.
Mike,You should have spray painted the skin black before you posted it.
LOL Rafed
Mike,Would personally be interested in running test on the fruit.
I am glad you like it Mike and hope this one will get even better with time as tree mature.
Chris, maybe next year. Only one more fig this season.
