USD Ischia Black

I have figs developing now on my young USD Ischia Black from a cutting this spring. Does anyone know if IB is a long ripening or shorter ripening variety. Thank you

For any fig variety it really is going to depend on the weather you have for that season.  Plus you can take into account if you live in an area that has it's own micro climate or you do what you can to create one that will give your fig tree the most sun and heat for the season.  That said I would say it is right in between an early ripening fig tree variety and a late season variety like Black Madeira.

tmc2009 Tom- I have a little over 90 days of of good weather before a frost possibly. Sometimes october is hot here. Zone 5 will make even medium ripening varieties difficult in the future maybe time to get my green house now to extend the season. Thank you for the info
