Hi,

I'm new to this board and am planning to plant figs in the Mid-Willamette Valley of Oregon. Looking for recommendations for purple or black figs that will do well up here. We have heavy clay soil.  Any suggestions?

Celeste , a while back there was a nursery when i google online in Oregon but darn i cannot think of the name .
Ah i just google Oregon Fig nursery, i found it , but i do not know there reputation i never order from them before. Maybe there near you here is link.

According to a guy I knew in Oregon,Osborn Proliffic is best Producer in his Backyard.

Long story short, I have three that did well for a lady in Portland, but after growing them here in San Diego, I cannot identify any of them, as they all seem different from anything else I have. I should have some cuttings in Feb. Pix of Portland 1, 3, and 4 should get posted at Figs 4 Fun this week.
