Vasilika Sika

Good day, last year my Vasilika Sika fruited late in the season and the figs I picked were spoiled.  Well, not this year!  Here is one that I picked a few days ago.  It started getting a dark sugar patch on the bottom so I picked it.  It was ripe.  It was very sweet and the sweetest part was the end.  I did not share this one with my wife, maybe the next one.
Enjoy!

dennis,

have you had chance to compare your Vasilika Sika to White Greek? my WG looks like the picture on following link. it was very first fig off WG, and i didn't really get much of taste off this one. it's the large tear drop shaped one in the middle with dark red.

I agree with the flavor, size, and sweetness being top ranked but here in Albuquerque, it is not a productive variety compared with others. What do others think?
Nice photos Mario!
