I would love to hear everyone 's opinion.  Is VDB, Vista and Negronne the same plant with a different name or do they share genetic material?

Violette Du Bordeaux and Negronne have been said to be the same, but Vista is not, from what I've read here in the forums.  Jon of Encanto Farms, who has many varieties, owns both Vista and VdB, and he says Vista is far better.  I plan to go down and pick up one of his Vista plants as soon as we can get our acreage.  Just need a little  room for all these fig trees! :-)

My opinion is Vista is not the same as VdB.  It is more related to Black Mission than VdB.  I have all three growing in my orchard, Negronne, VdB, Black Mission, and Petite Negra.
