SUPERTHRIVE for Friday evening :) It smells like some vitamin tablets. In india we use B-Complex tablets, if it expires we use to open the capsules on the soil. Interesting read about the Magic Potion Superthrive http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/fig/msg031955499481.html

Has any one used organic Azomite I read this : ----------------- A to Z Minerals- A Complete Organic Fertilizer A Source of Minerals & Trace Elements Azomite is the name of a special rock in Utah. Early this century geological prospector Rollin Anderson found deposits of montmorillonite clay in a valley south of Salt Lake City. U.S. Bureau of Mines analysis showed the clay is similar to Chilean/Peruvian caliche rocks from which much of the world's nitrate was mined. Anderson ground montmorillonite as fine as possible, then put it in his garden. Minerals in Azomite are necessary to optimal metabolism in living things. Ground to dust, minerals are small enough to pass through cell walls of organisms.

Hi sivaveera , Sorry for such a late reply! I have had the fig tree for a year now and it has grown- and is still alive- but the leaves have never lost their "sadness". I have quite a few trees of the same size and for some reason, this is the only one whose leaves are so wilted and sad looking. when it is hot, they stems droop and as the day cools off, the stems will perk up again but the leaves dont look very happy.. the leaves are green though, and it is alive and growing so I am trying not to worry so much about it..(Of course I do still worry about it- I just repotted it into a larger pot and added some mulch to the top layer to see if it may help..If it doesn't, then I will really stop worrying about it). Good luck with your tree! I hope it brings you lots of delicious figs. Hi Tandmadd and sivaveera, If your trees are still looking unhappy, throw once, in the pot, 2 cups (normal 20cl cup ) (for big pots like in the photos) of milk (normal half fat milk) spread at E,N,South,W positions. I would try it . Perhaps they miss some nutrients and they would get them with milk . I have some seedlings figtrees, and they were getting me crazy . Started fertilizing them more - they still looked poor and sad . I threw a cup of milk ... Most of them are now happy ... I suspect lack of calcium in the dirt. __________________ ------------------------ Climate from -25°C to + 35°C Only cold hardy figtrees can make it here

I do use both Azos and Mykos in my figs. I sprinkle and dip at every up potting. __________________ Tami SE Texas

Thanks you all. I planted the Tree on the ground last Friday and he looks happy :) I will try the Milk
