Verte rooting Question

I have been tryint to root some Verte shoots that I got in July they both had one root each its been two months and absolutely nothing they both grew some leaves in the first 3 weeks but no visible roots even now but still alive. Is verte one of those hard to root varieties? Because my patience is running low with these two.

well I put these two by the window today so they get hit by sunlight we will see how much they want to live, I have run out of patience need to make room for all the other cuttings coming next week.

Im no expert but what are they in , wrapped or in clear cup with potting soil?

Hi Martin they are in Clear cups but I covered the bottom cup with a black Plastic bag thats all I had here, they were both in soil & perlite for two months the smallest shoot I changed to Vermaculite & perlite on Tuesday and noticed still no roots. Monday I will tip the cups and see if no roots then they are going in the garbage. By the way I put them in a way where only the bottom cup is getting hit by sun the smaller shoot I took away from the window already because I noticed there was allot of moisture in there didnt want it to cook lets see how much they want me to keep them I told them both monday is judgement day.

well Im not sure how good Verte figs taste but enough is enough for me cuttings went to the garbage. Time for some new varieties
