Vertical Training

Many know the Japanese style of horizontal training. However, it's the first time I saw an opposite approach, vertical training, on a Chinese website. The idea here is to save space. It won't help fruit production, but you can squeeze more pots in the same area.

However, if you read Ken Love's info, he explains that the tree is grown to 6 feet, and tied to a bamboo, that is leaned slowly over 10 days, so it is on the horizontal position... by then, this would be ready to start as described by Ken Love. Usually nurseries plant this way- it is easier.

Hey willwall
This is goodstuff for people that grow in balconies and need to maximize the pots to space ratio.
thanks
