I hear that variety is a little on the dry side actually.

It's probably still around because there wasn't enough heat for it to ripen.
Really crappy fossils otherwise.

So fig is native in North America? I like its really cold hardy and won't rot in rain....

Tried to make fig jam with them but they never softened up. Makes it hard to spread on bread. Lol
