No problems here in zone 6/7
Mine isn't in the ground Michael - it overwinters in a garage - but I haven't noticed a problem with cold. We're 6a here and it gets pretty cold, other overwintering trees have suffered.
thx. I think this tree deserves a lot more attention then it currently gets.
