An interesting video I found on Youtubeclick here to see
I enjoy fig video's Michal.Thanks for sharing.
That's a nice video. This guy seems to have figured out quite a bit on his own. Wonder if he's heard of the F4F yet. I have a sneaky feeling he will soon discover it if he hasn't already.
Bill,
Im thinking since he posted a video on youtube just maybe he's been looking at other fig video's also.If any member here is going to make a fig video in future perhaps they could mention the figs4fun forum in there video. You never know he may pop up one day afterwards, that is if he see's it.
Maybe just comment on his video and he will respond?Seems to be keeping up with people commenting on his video.
Thats a great idea Rafed. Maggie commented on mine although i feel my short video stunk !Back to the drawing board.
I just invited him to join figs4fun.
One thing I noticed that the fig fruits were in the dark inside the bushy tree and not getting enough light otherwise it seemed to be bight day (or it may be just the time of the day when the tree area was shaded) !
Just so this fella doesn't get inundated with invitations; I had actually found a link via his youtube username which eventually took me to a website he has about some old books and videos he seems to be into.He had an email address on there for contacting him. I extended an invite to him to the forum as well. So maybe we'll see him around soon. I'm sure he'll be amused when he sees that we've been talking about him here already :-) >
Nice video. Thanks Michal and one more thanks to your generosity in sharing the figs you left.
Hello Michal,You make some really good videos. Thanks for sharing them with us.noss
Thanks for sharing, I need to practice posting videos on youtube. I just posted my first video but it has nothing to do with figs or gardening.
Thank you everyone and as I will find or create other videos I will make sure to post them out here.If anyone is able to create new material this would be a great addition to the community.
Well Bass,
Bass,That was really nice music. Is that instrument electric? If not, how does it have such a smooth, mellow tone to it? It's a beautiful instrument.
Thanks Gorgi and Noss,
Bass; You built a greenhouse, grow figs (among other things), garden, maintain a website, and you learn to play an Oud. Where do you find the time man?!Really, that was some fine playing Bass. I enjoy watching someone play a live instument. Makes me wish I could do it. Good job on the video but especially on the playing.
Glad you enjoyed it, it was just a small clip i put together as a test. Playing music is among my many hobbies.
I sing to them in my old scratchy voice.Kids would do better though but they have no interest in playing for themDaughter plays clarinet, violin and piano.Son plays electric guitar
My wife would say "If you sing to me like you sing to your figs, I'd be dead too!"______________DominickZone6a-MA
Here's a video of me eating figs among other things in my garden at Dreamtime Village:
LOL Bass! When you said "You mean you all don't play music for your figs?" I got a visual of you sittining in your greenhouse & jammin' with your figs.Bet you'd get good acoustics in there :) . Neighbors might have some colorful comments for ya - depends if you're on key or not I suppose!
Hey mIEKAL, cool video! Good to find out more about you straight from the horses mouth. I look forward to seeing you at the farming conference in a couple weeks. Stay figgy!Peace, Little John
