Video I made about 'pinching'

I hope this video helps new fig growers understand what it means when we talk about 'pinching'.  As I state in the video, I'm not an expert, but simply sharing what has worked for me.  Thanks

good video frank thanks for taking the time to make it

Thanks Frank ....straight forward and to the point video....

Great Video, should help many out.

That first tree looks like my MBVS with it's red/pinkish rimmed new leaves.

Thanks for taking time Frank. This is a good video.

Very nice video Frank ,thanks for taking the time to explain pinching in such a simple and understandable manner . I loved the happy ending also!! Great looking fig!

Good job Frank.
I applaud you. Thank you.

I'm glad you all like it.  Thank you for the kind words.

Very helpful. Thank You for posting.

Great job Frank. I could have used this when I started pinching

Also, the same principal seems to work on blueberries except that the results aren't seen for a year. I've started pinching my blueberries last year and they formed much more extensive branching that season, hence more fruit this year.

Thank you Frank,  A picture really is worth a thousand words.  I think I was way too timid with my pinching and the bleeding sap concerned me.

Thanks Frank, I just started pinching this year and have seen some more fruit....yeaaaa    My daughter really got a lot on her in ground fig tree (mission). She told me last night she was eating figs with vanilla ice cream. Thanks to posting like these, we all benefit.

Nice presentation Frank, I recognize those Carini leaves.

Thanks everyone!  Yep, Calvin.  :)  Carinis got snipped.  And now we wait...

Frank, thanks so much for posting this! Great Video! You explained it very well.... : )

Thanks Frank, that was really helpful. I'm in VA too and acquired my first 2 fig cuttings last year. I pinched them off this spring, so it's good to see I was doing the right thing!

Great video Frank!  Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Love the video. good information, very well presented, Frank!

Thanks for taking the time and sharing!

Thanks again.
I've been pinching more this year than ever and I'm getting figlets everywhere.  Just reassurance it works wonders for me, especially in the SIPs.  The ground trees are still growing vigorously with lots of vegetative growth, but the pinching is still forcing new activity, whether it's fig initials or branching, not sure yet.
