One of several ways to do it. Here is how I do mine, start to finish. Perhaps it may help someone out.
Great video, thanks for sharing, helps me tons.
A very valuable video, Frank. Great of you to take the time to make it! Thank you.
I like these videos. Thanks :D
Thank you. I'm glad you all can use it to your benefit.
Nice video Frank...
Frank, great video, thanks.
Thanks Frank. I've had no success with my air layer this year. Interesting to see that it works fine without peeling the bark back.
Well done. Think i'll give it a try.
Hey Frank, you are Da Man! Great Video Brother! Like your other Videos always trying to help people out! Thanks! Frank from Bama!
Thanks Frank. :) I appreciate it.
Thanks Frank. Answered a few questions i had. I really like adding foil & doing the extra step by making the cap for the top. Seems it will line up the root ball to the air layer branch. Keeps it centered. Very good video
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Frank. I bookmarked the video, as I will be trying air-layering in the next couple days. Great timing!!!!
Nice video and technique Frank! Thank you for sharing.
Frank, I'm just starting out, so this video helps me immensely. My only question is about water. Did you add any to the dirt prior to filling up the bottle? During the weeks it was growing roots, did you add any water?
Nice video, Frank. Definitely will help out a lot of people.
Nicely done Frank. What were you layering there??
Thanks Coop! The first air layer is on Longue d' Aout. The 2nd air layer at the end of the video is Carini.
Gee Frank you make it look easy,my question can you air layer a branch that has figs on it?
Joe,Absolutely. It will grow as normal since the main energy supply is still intact. If you separate an air layer with a fig, I'm not sure if it will ripen. Maybe others will chime in.
Thanks Frank , i have bottle in my hand. going to give LSU improved celeste a try .. didn't have any success with cuttings in coir ,they would root then die off.
Got to Bump this Outstanding Post/video !
