Rafed:
I have some new varieties that I got from my trip in the Balkans and this spring I am flying to Georgie (the country not the U.S. state) and Armenia. Therefore, I will probably discover a few more new fig trees.
As for introducing them to North America at this stage I am living in Europe.
rcantor: I think Danny point is also commercial viability and from my understanding is to see how much he can clear off hi stocks. From my discussion with him is to see what is the tipping point for him in terms of how many varieties he can offer. Probably, if you are interested you can always notify him and he could work on getting this variety.
I do not want to sound like a sell-out for him but my involvement with Danny has been in advising him to get varieties that other sellers such as Adriano, Grimo and others do not have or are not able to easily supply.
Here in Europe and in the U.S.A. there are so many sources to get different varieties but in Canada there is a lack of good suppliers and I hope Danny and others will be able to offer to people in Canada good alternatives for this great hobby.
