Akram has a nice one ripening. It goes from red to dark color. Many a times, Vicenzo would bear figs in its 1st yr started from cuttings. Its a keeper for me & so far prolific for main crop. Not sure about breba as the cold always knock them off. Hopefully those that I have shared this variant in warmer zones in USA can report on it. Its taste is very pleasant, not overly sweet but very nice. Its a large dark fig, especially its breba & main crop is smaller, slightly bigger than a golf ball. According to the gentleman I got this variant from, he thinks it is in the Brogiotto family of figs. Its an in-ground tree kept outside for over 3 yrs. This variant taste is very similar to Enrico, another large dark fig.
Nel, hope you get to enjoy some of those main crop figs.
