Looking good, Martin.  When do you usually move your figs outdoors in the spring?  I start getting growth of my in-ground and potted plants in very early March, but I'm a few growing zones south of you (Newport News, VA). I am looking forward to my VdB harvest.  Here are pics of the tree and developing main crop.

Dave, makes me wish I planted my VDB in ground very nice indeed. Martin you must be working hard with that fig shuffle, your tree looks to be in the same stage as mine for fig size and aren't you in a colder zone?

I start the fig shuffle in mid March , at that point trees are still dormant here in my climate.

Very nice plant Dave.
Thanks for sharing

Looking good Martin, my tree is also starting to push out main crop now and looks like I will eating quite a few this year thank you for the cuttings this is a great fig very tasty and productive.

My neighbors VdB is also showing much main crop , he asked if he should leave a few breba and i said sure see how you will like them.
I tried to give him another different type thats growing main figs but he politely declined cause of his age but i share ripe figs either way and he loves them right off the tree skin and all and favors my hardy chicago at this point.
