Violet de Bordeaux and Zingarella

I'm really impressed with the quality of the fig off of a 2013 UCD cutting of Violet de Bordeaux.  I had my first Zingarella which was refreshing after having the thicker jammy Violet de Bordeaux.

Tom, that's a good looking VdB, I got mine from UCD also, although no fruit since they are 6 months old. They look so good, congrats.

Great looking fig and you do such informative videos!

I bought 2 Negronne from 2 different nurseries.  They both said Negronne is the same fig as VDB.
The only problem for me is that the 2 plants look different.  No fruit yet so time will tell which is the real Negronne..LOL

I get a lot of VDB as I have them as my stepovers and they are good.....the zingerellas though are fabulous....very impressed.
