You are right. For me it has been an excellent tasting fig this first year.

I had one ripen on a plant too small to ripen a nice fig. I was surprised how good it tasted. It should only get better.

Marius, how hardy is this cultivar for you?
I have one small plant that freezed to the ground last winter (lowest was around -18°C),
now has grown just a thin branch.

rofig,i think -18c is too match even for cold hardy fig.In addition,it is a small plant.You will see if is really cold hardy after 5-10 years.;)

It is not that cold hardy...but,if you keep it in a big pot for the first 3 years,i'm sure it will pass the winter if is planted 5-6 ft from a south wall of a house.There is no such (young) fig tree to pass -18C (0 Fahr).

I have a young tree I am looking for some fruit off of next year
