Violette de Bordeaux leaf shape question

Is there any way the plant in the upper left could be a Violette De Bordeaux?  I got a few cuttings of Violette De Bordeaux, but only one plant, the one on the right, looks like the pictures I've seen of Violette De Bordeaux.  I've been trying to be very care about labeling.  I even went out and got one of those fancy paint pens.  I grafted what I thought was Violette De Bordeaux onto one of my unknown fig plants.

I also got some Malta cuttings relatively soon after I got the Violette De Bordeauxs.  Could the plant in the upper left be the Malta?  I know it's impossible to make a positive ID with so little to go on, but any guesses would be appreciated.
Could this be Violette de Bordeaux.jpg

Yes, Cheryl, it very well could be. My VdB has branches with all single lobed leaves, and branches with all long, fingered leaves. It is common with this variety.

Good to know.

Thanks!

Yes but the tree is too young to tell for sure.  You should know that there are at least 2 different strains going around under the VDB name.  One is the same as UCD Vista, the other is not.  The leaves are totally different between them, but the fruit is pretty similar.  One of them puts out a lot of long fingered leaves like the Nero 600 M (or sort-of like some of the leaves on the RDB) and occasionally may throw branches with single-lobe or grape-like leaves. I think that is the one figary is talking about. The other (Vista Type) has very distinct leaves.

After I had posted the question and looked through the files again I saw the picture of one plant with two different leaf types on different branches.  Very interesting.

I got some heirloom tomato seeds and ended up with a potato leaf and a regular leaf from the same batch of seeds.  Thought I had made a mistake until somebody else mentioned it happened to them too.  They're growing side by side.  At least with tomatoes you don't have to wait two or three years to find out if the fruit is the same.  So, I'll just patiently wait to see what happens with the figs.

Thanks
