I had the opportunity to visit Bills Figs over the weekend. I was amazed how large some of his trees are. His method really seems to work well. I purchased one of his self watering pots along with the dirt and all. I also couldn't help myself and got a nice Stella fig. Bill is a very nice guy, and patiently answers all your questions. If you happen to be by his area I highly recommend a visit, its like being in fig heaven. One of the most interesting fig trees  I saw was the Afghan tree it stands out completely from all the other trees

That's great you got to visit with Bill.  He really is a nice person and very welcoming.
