I had a great tour and picked up a lot of information, now if I can just remember all of it. The first glass of fig tea for me and it won't be my last. I can't say thanks enough as I had to pick up some potting soil on my way home to repot my new trees. Thanks again!

FMD said it is only dried fig leaves brewed just like tea.

I had the pleasure of visiting FMD again today and was it an adventure. My taste buds have never experienced those flavor before. The southern hospitality as they say was so gracious. My first fig juice, man is that great and of coarse the tea, with lemon grass. I can't wait for my grass to grow enough to start using it. Also the Carolina Reaper he sent Travis was intense ,he tried to explain it but was speechless. The Alma sisters are adorable in person, the fruit was absolutely fabulous. It was an amazing day for a fig fan.

It was great watching you experience your first taste encounter with the likes of ripened MBVS, nj red, Cucchiano red, Hardy Chicago, San Donato, LSU Gold, Green Ischia, Alma, De'n Roig de Manyo, and a bunch of others.

Later in the day, I had another local visitor for a fig tasting tour. Same incredulous reactions to tasting something other than Celeste. He also collected a large bucket of figs for jam and beer brewing.

It was a fun day. Wills and Wayne, looking forward to your visits.
