Is it "worth eating"????

I have never eaten a breba here that would invite me to eat a second fig. This was one is better than most, but still not worth it, here. Most taste like a cross between a cucumber and an under-ripe fig. Probably due to lack of heat when the ripen after May gray, and during our June gloom.

Have anyone noticed the difference of the color of the membrane between the main crop and the Breba?
what I mean by membrane is right below the skin which is normally white in all main crop fig regardless of the skin color. I've noticed the membrane is purple in most brebas i got.

Wish i could say i get breba but the never ripen and just fall off sometimes i help them along there way knowing they will fall, oh well
