Where are you located?
The problem might be that, by the time your figs have enough size to be caprified - usually about 1/2 inch in diameter), the areas with wasps might have already exhausted their Profichi production (usually warmers regions, caprifigs in a more developed state).
Where i live, i have located a caprifig, but i have my fig trees up North. Most of my figs still weren't receptive and all the Profichi had already dropped (most fully matured) from the caprifig tree.
A solution might be to collect the pollen and later try to hand pollinate the figs (not an easy job to accomplish - i have never tried it to date)
Fortunately, thanks to a good friend that has access to more caprifig trees, some with longer maturation periods, i received some mature Profichi a few weeks ago.
With luck, maybe some of my figs were pollinated (and hopefully, also some of my young caprifig trees).
