But, on the other hand, I have as much as 4 feet of growth on my trees, and quite a few figs forming. It is also good weather for acclimating my newly rooted plants to the great outdoors. I have about 500 plants under my Tangerine tree.

There are still about 1500 cuttings rooting (or not) in the greenhouse.


We're supposed to be cool all week - pretty normal for this time of year. So I had to turn the heater back on in the greenhouse for a few hours a night - in addition to the solar heat from the black plastic which covers it currently. In a couple weeks, no more black plastic, no more heater, put the shade back on it, and turn the mister on to moderate the heat during the day. It still beats 100F in Phoenix this time of year. I'm willing to move into summer a little slower.
