F4F member kurab2556 has never purchased from me (unless under some name I am unaware of). However, he has been using my photos to sell fig cuttings on his Facebook group located at https://www.facebook.com/groups/growingfig/ and, though he initiated contact with me through Facebook and chatted with me as recently as six days ago, he has now blocked me so I cannot see his posts in his group with my primary Facebook account. Fortunately, I have another account still and he can try to guess who that is.

This post is being made to alert others and to suggest avoiding dealing with this individual based in Thailand.

It's almost like you have to put a disclaimer on any photos you take and use on any selling site.  "Photo Copywrite 2014 HarveyC for use only by HarveyC."  And put that across the photo in faint lettering! Photoshop, diagonal at 25% opacity.  I do it all the time for personal photos on Pinterest. 

FB can also be a nasty place.  I sent a dude in another country some grapevine cuttings which grew into a vineyard, and he became such a pest I eventually blocked him.  At least you can do that there.  But when it's a selling competitor it would be nice to spy on what he is saying.

Its high time you "bookmark" all your photos. Few "sellers" around this region have been caught stealing other people's photos.

Richard, he never asked permission and he blocked me and then kicked me out of his group.  I spent 4 hours on this last night and this jerk wants me to delete this thread but I suggested he publicly apologize and to compensate me for the use of my photos.  He is now posting that I'm a F'in western white money eater (or something like that) so he can't post my photos but tells folks to send him a PM and he'll send photo.

He's contacted several members here asking to buy bulk quantities of cuttings and I suggested folks tell him to take a flying leap.  Just IMHO, LOL.

Thanks for the heads up on this clown, Harvey.  It is really depressing how this sort of scum keeps popping up on ebay & FB to prey on the trusting and/or ignorant (unfortunately, I fall into both those categories in the fig-world so I am now using this forum to help keep me safe).

I've dealt with kurab2556 before and had good experiences.  He's always been honest and straightforward with me.  Too bad these disagreements have to escalate to bashing people on the forum.

It is not disagreements - it is because some are very greedy............ and have dirty minds- very fast to accuse and name calling............

Alex, you can't read.  I never told Percha how much to pay.  I told him how much I paid for the use of someone else's photos and, in an earlier message, told him to make me an offer.  When someone takes something from me without permission, they should pay.  Period.

I am not selling a fake, Alex.  As mentioned in my auction, the cuttings for my mother trees came for Bass and that is the only reason Bass would agree to my use of his photos.

My posts about you and your fell scammers was started on January 12, 2015 while "your" question about the use of his photos came to me on January 14, 2015.  You have the order of events reversed.  But you bring up an interesting thing.  The question about my use of Bass's photos on eBay came from Korina-2009 who is based in Pennsylvania.  It now appears, based on your own comment, that you either use her name/address as a fake or you control that eBay account.

Please use normal fonts and colours. That is more appropriate and can make a point if there is one.
